Well progression is slow but, at least by definition, its moving in the right direction! I live in a very small town thats sort of in the middle of a lot of nothing and its not what you might term as "culturally advanced" or sophisticated. The people are nice but its a lot of farm land and there are a lot of people who have nothing else to do except hunt and ride around in big trucks while wearing camouflage. There is a good amount of drug use and even the cops have been known to be on patrol while drunk. But the area is pretty and its what I know as home. So, anyways, I have been trying to get my work "out there" and I have had a couple of gallery shows in the past with my older paintings but last week I took a chance...I went into the new coffee shop on our short main street to check it out. It is one of those places that naturally weeds out the people that wouldn't know art from the insole of their left shoe and they have let me hang 3 of my pieces there. (Yay!) After less than a week, however, I was much surprised...I have already sold 6 prints! It doesn't mean a lot of money or anything coming in on my end but, hell, it means people like my work even out here!

So, yea, I'm pretty excited about that. I also have 2 new pieces that I am working on and should be done soon. One is a sort of tribute piece and the other is a bit more abstract but I'm having fun doing them!
